# System Requirements

While Modus can run on business-class machines, you will get the best performance and visuals on higher-end PCs with a dedicated graphics card.

## Recommended Specifications

* Operating System: Windows 10/11 64-bit
* GPU: nVidia RTX 4070/5070 or greater
* RAM: 16GB
* Storage: 512GB SSD
* CPU: Any machine that meets the GPU requirements will be sufficient

<summary>Modus is not launching on my business-class laptop or desktop. What should I do?</summary>

In the launcher, go to the **Settings** tab, then **VR & Photo**. Turn **Force DX11** on.
